coast. three separate storms in just one week have soaked oregon and washington and northern california. by the way, northern california has been hammered the worst and guess what. a fourth storm is on the way. a lot of areas already dealing with really bad flooding and they thought this was the worst of it. >> this thing just went up fast. real fast. fire department was out here. and got a lot of stuff, you know, away from the house so it didn't float down the road and stuff but this is the worst. >> meteorologist chad myers joins us now at the weather center in atlanta. round four. >> yes. >> this seems just cruel. >> and it gets worse. there will be six more rounds in the next 16 days. i can't stress how much rain that's going to -- once you get rain on the ground like we have now, it doesn't just evaporate and run off. it does run off but doesn't just go away. adding to injury. we have 20 inches in some spots on the ground in past 3 storms. we talked about this wednesday last week. i said this is the worst round 0 of storms that i have seen in northern california, washington, oregon

will move into far northern california and we are just going to get some light to moderate rainfall. it's a subtle change but enough of a change to alleviate flooding concerns around here in the bay area. so we have a storm system moving by tomorrow. we'll have a front dragging through but any heavy rainfall will likely stay away. you're just going to get plain old rainfall. that's it. on-and-off rain throughout the day. flooding not a concern. this is the long- range outlook. the entire west coast from oregon to mexico is forecast to be drier than normal so you want some dry weather clear things out? after wednesday we look dry for a while. tomorrow tuesday highs in the low 60s. oakland 62. santa clara 63. los altos 64. wet tomorrow evening through the day on wednesday. after that, it's not going to be warm or perfectly sunny but it's certainly going to be dry. >> but the problem with garden variety rain my garden is already flooded. >> you walk in your yard, smush, smush, smush, you ruin a pair of shoes out there today. >> thanks. >>> the royal couple is expecting an heir. news of the

bit closer, you can see plenty of rain over the northern sections of california. but we have to get in pretty close to see some rain in our neck of the road. a little bit of light rain possibly falling over guerneville and winds ooh, highway 12, east of highway 101. i move on over to areas near vacaville and fairfield, perhaps i-80 getting a few sprinkles at this time. around the air base parkway and vacaville area. so we will continue to see these scattered showers off and on, off and on and then a steady rain coming by tomorrow morning. right now, the winds are light. this storm, not as robust as we've seen. the winds will pick up a little bit tomorrow morning, winds 10 to 20 miles an hour, maybe gusting stronger than that. but boy, we saw some pretty strong gusts on sunday and wear be -- and wear a's not gog -- and we're not gonna see anything like that with this system. the winds are light as i showed you. here's your forecast -- we have mostly gray skies but we're mainly dry at this hour. you see the rain here to the north of us. scattered showers are a possibility in the north
